Thanks!

Anyone notice the date on that last post? That's right:

Thanks for all the great gifts (got some good ties, coincidentally (or not)), nice cards, and well-wishes.




Um, so why not say anything more about that date? Well, I share that birthday, unfortunately.
Did you see the cover of the Times on Wednesday? Sheesh.

    Thanks, Marisa. Didn't mean to make you feel like a jerk . . . mostly wanted to whine about the corpse on the Times cover . . .

    And no, Emily just bought the card--still a talent, though, I'd argue.


    And as for anonymous comments about Emily's (lovely) fingernails, I guess I'll withhold those from the public. But thanks anyway.
